Although only a day old, we have received some very encouraging emails and will continue to thank all of you who will be with us during this awsome process. Turk and I realize that we are in for some discomfort but Susan is most nervous because she is one of those people who actually feel other peoples pain. Have a nice weekend and bear with me as I get this blog site organized.
Scott

Hi All, This is a great idea! Love your picture. Already sent one message but it may be in cyber space limbo, so here we go again. We are so happy that you are mobile again Scott and that all is in order for you to receive your precious gift from your special son. God be with you all. We'll be keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for organizing the blog and allowing us to share in this. Where will Ms. K. Foster be residing while you are in Atlanta? Can you have that reunion in HHI when we are there? Love, Rob and Kay

I can't wait to visit you and your family to help celebrate this modern day miracle! Sorry for all the exclamation points, but you deserve them!!!!! Talk to you soon,

Hello!
I am very proud of my husband (Turk). He is truly a remarkable person and I am so lucky to have him in my life.
As we get closer to the day of the much-anticipated surgery, I think to myself in amazement of how unselfish he truly is; I admire him.
But it is no surprise to me that he would act this way, as both of his parents are none less then extraordinary. They are loving, giving, wise, non-judgemental, and most of all encouraging. I love them both.
A while ago (before the wedding), Turk asked me how much I loved him. Well, I should have pointed to the skies, or to the sea, or some other endless and immeasurable thing. All I had were words, and they were incapable of reflecting forms that have no end.
Today I answer him with this promise: “If you are ever in need of a kidney handsome, I will give you mine”. I love you!
With love and prayer,
Joanna
